ABOUT THE BOOK:
Rasashastra Bhaishajyakalpana is a very vast subject which according to present syllabus a student has to study in one year. Recently many new points from modern Pharmacology have been included in the syllabus, however 'weightage' carried by these points are not specifically mentioned. This nesseciates conceptual understanding of such points. The Author has tried to explain these points from this angle. ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Dr. Vilas Atmaram Dole graduated from Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyaiaya, Pune in 1969.He completed post graduation in Rasashastra Bhaishajyakalpana from the same college. He started his teaching career in 1973. He retired in 2007 as professor and H. O. D. During his tenure he was a very popular teacher,
He has written four books on Rasashastra-Bhaishajyakalpana in Marathi which are used by Teachers and students of Ayurvedacharya. His book on Rasashastra in English is referred by students from all over India. He has translated Rasaratnasamchchaya in English with his own commentary. At present he is working on translation of Basavarajiyam in English.
For last more than 35 years he is giving his services to Seth Tarachand Ramnath Charitable Ayurvedic Hospital Pune as Honarary Radiologist. |
