Pancakarma, the fastest growing specialty of Ayurveda globally, presents a unique approach of Ayurveda with specially designed five procedures of internal purification of the body through the nearest possible route. Such purification permits the biological system to return to normalcy & to rejuvenate rapidly and also facilitates the desired pharmacokinetic & therapeutic effects of medicines administered thereafter.
Author of this book has made great effort of writing a comprehensive book on Pancakarma by describing each therapy analytically & critically, using various Ayurvedic texts, commentaries, contemporary research works and experiences of eminent physicians. Currently, very few books on Pancakarma are available in English language.

Preface
Principles & Practice of Pancakarma is an essential text on the Pancakarma, a branch of Medicine. The need for such a book results from scarcity of well written, critically reviewed and the less number of books on Pancakarma in English language.
In 3rd edition of Principles & Practice of Pancakarma, important topics have been added wherever necessary in order make the book complete. Current Practice of Pancakarma in different diseases is updated.
