The Dhammapada is one of the most revered and widely read Buddhist scripture in existence. It was compiled in the third century BC and is newly translated here.
Dhammapada means 'the path of dharma', the path of harmony and righteousness that anyone can follow to reach the highest peak of perfection.
These are Buddha's words and teachings that all suffering stems from desire. And that the way to attain freedom is to purify the heart and follow the way of truth.
