This book is an outcome of the National seminar on 'Indian Hermeneutics: Theory and Application'. This volume consists of twenty one Research Papers on this theme. Almost all the papers have some theoretical part along with the allication of the same in different areas of Sanskrit studies such as, the Vedic literature like the Brahmana literature; the Vedanga literature such as the Nirukta, Grammar; Philosophical literature such as Nyaya, Mimamsa, Vedanta etc. There also are papers on the Bhagavad Gita, Poetics, Dharmasastra etc. from the hermeneutical point of view.
