The Uraons are an aboriginal tribe of Dravidian stock concentrated in the western half of Chhota Nagpur in central India. The book contains translations of poems and marriage material collected by the author from various parts of Chhota Nagpur as Gumla, Jashpur Thana, in Ranchi. It is a beautiful collection of rare material pf the Uraon tribes.
