We have a saying in Sanskrit "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam". Meaning the whole world is a family. For every tourist, when he she tours a certain area, he/she has a perfect chance to understand the manner, customs, rituals, traditions, behaviour, folklore etc. of the territory they visit. On the other side, the area which receives tourists has a chance to understant the culture, customs and manners of tourists getting fascinated with our salwar kamizes, sarees and safas. This type of cross cultural interaction between the tourists and hosting population has been highlighted in this book. This book tries to capture various facets of cross cultural interaction and their impacts on a population and an area.
