This book is a record of observations in natural science. These observations have been collected in the Himalayan valley of Hazara.
The work commences with a brief description and the geographical features of the valley. The habits, instincts and general anatomy of species of ants, animals and birds have been discussed briefly.
The interest of the author has been chiefly directed towards the habits of animals. The purpose of this book is to give more striking manifestation of life that is seen in the Himalayan valley.
The study also contains the drawings of the species which add more interest to the subject matter of text. The photographs of scenery give some impression of the rugged feature of the Himalaya's. |
