The timing of marriage of women and its related events with the help of cross-tabular and multivariate analysis i.e., quantitative analysis. Based on these, some major genralisations were drawn. However, there may be some women for whom the entry into wedlock and related events would be either very early or very late. What were the circumstances that have led to such early or late marriage of women? What were the specific causes that have led to early or late initiation of marriage and timing of marriage of women?
To answer these questions, it was felt that a few women be studied with the help of case study method i.e., qualitative analysis. This book, therefore aims to focus on this issue. |
