The theory governing this book is that every culture must evolve a management system that is in tune with its unique cultural ethos. The socialisation all individuals unconsciously experience governs their thinking, their values and their goals. If a system of management were created that takes into account this mindset, the result would be substantially better than before. There are problems with adapting Western models of management to the Indian work atmosphere.
