Eco-feminism envisages concern of the women for the Environment and their direct involvement in the environment protection. Women are more prone to fall victim to environmental degradation.
Ecological improvement hinges and availability of drinking water and cooking fuel for which enormous women labour is spent without any return. Women welfare schemes such as Self Help Groups empower women to become economically independent and sound.
