The book “Teacher and Student Absenteeism” is brought about the SSA Scheme. The objectives and motto of the scheme is given in detail. In this book the author has given how much percentage of leave has been taken by the teachers working in the elementary schools, the reasons behind the leave and type of leave taken by them are also given. Similarly, the reasons for the students absent and the percentage of absent in each class form 1st standard to 8th standard is given in this book. In addition to that the drinking water facility of the schools are also given in this book. Moreover, some state recommendations are given to reduce the absent of the students. Therefore, through this book the reader can know about the reasons for the absent of teachers and the students.
