The monograph in two parts, presents the basis and theoritical expressions, manufacturing process and techniques of the Marana and Jarana etc. in brief and the technological study of spotting, study of the pattern of colour bands developed therein, technique of taking photographs of the developed spots as the various stages of the reaction, its explanation, findings and conclusions. In all 48 photographs have been included. The technique is helpful in the detection of continued chemical reactions that take place gradually between two chemical substances on state media at every second or even of fraction of second. Following this technique it has been observed during the experimental work that various substances however complex or simple they are, a precipitable chain of chemical changes are easily detectable, by their distinct colour manifestation or changes in the pattern of spot as the case may be that take place before the actual chemical reaction is completed. Some initial or intermediate reactions or changes which occur before culminating into a major chemical reaction can be detected by the present technique and in fact this phenomenon is made use of as evident from the nomenclature, Namburi phased spot test give to the technique.
