The book titled Diversification Strategies and Corporate Performance studies diversification strategy which is one of the major growth strategies in the present era of liberalization, globalization and privatization. The nature and extent of diversification has been studied with respect to companies in the Indian manufacturing sector. The pattern of diversification followed by Indian companies too has been identified keeping Rumelt’s Methodology of diversification as the base.
