 DESCRIPTION

Violation of human rights is found in all parts of the world. Economic development and human rights is closely related to each others. There is an urgent need for preserving human rights in an effective manner to avoid some abuses.

This is not to deny that the notions of equality too have undergone radical transformations in past centuries and along with them also the notions of right. True enough, equality was initially considered as little more than formal equality, i.e., equality before law. The social and economic content of that equality was the outcome of real struggles of the oppressed. That notwithstanding, it seems, even the notion of that formal equality was necessary for any rights talk to be meaningful.
