This book is an attempt to explore the sociological dimensions of the role and status of working women with special reference to secondary school female teachers. It highlights the significant change is her status and role. This study deals with a variety of issues related to teaching profession and female teachers. Authors employ several methods in this study including review, survey, observational studies ad intensive interviews. Based on substantive empirical data this work offers deep insight into the present status of an important segment of population namely working women.
