DESCRIPTION
The curriculum of elementary schools is a very important factor in the education of children. Students need to understand and express themselves in a language which can be the mother tongue only at the elementary level. besides this they have to be proficient in using numbers through arithmetic. Besides this they need to understand the general science and social studies. The elementary school children should be given some elementary education in fine arts and music, besides physiocal education training. In schools in country like India english hjas also emerged a a second langauge as a compulsory subject. Besides this the students need to be given informal education through co-curricular activities like camping scouting and excursions. The curriculum framers for elementary school should also associate the parents and specialists while developing the curriculum for elementary education.
