'Teaching of Science' particularly at the elementary level is an important aspect of present day science education. For teacher trainees at the elementary level this book will serve as an up-to-date text book. This will serve the purpose of students as well as teachers. This book is divided into seven units. First unit includes teaching of science at upper primary level. The second unit describes curriculum transaction and role of science teacher while the third unit contains enrichment content: an integrated approach. The fourth unit deal with methods of teaching science and fifth unit is devoted to lesson planning and teaching. The sixth unit is devoted to lesson planning and teaching. The sixth unit describes the uses of resources, and finally seventh unit deals with innovative experiences in science. Apart from these seven units there is another unit which contains questions with answers.
