DESCRIPTION
Recently Applied Zoology has been included in the national syllabus of U.G.C. as a compulsory course; this subject is taught in one from or another throughout the Indian Universities. All these applied fields are very vast and it is hard to cover up all aspects of each field. The information on these applied aspects are scattered in books, research papers, reports and pamphlets. Therefore, I decided to write a book on this important subject. The present work is an attempt to put the available information together in the form of a critical review. I had tried my level best to put the information in a simplified way with appropriate diagrams and tables. I did not claim perfection but it I get co-operation from the readers in the form of constructive suggestions, I hope, I would be able to improve it further in the next edition.
