| Today is an age of commerce. Commerce has brought about revolutionary changes in every walk of life, i.e. living life styles, processes of production, methods of teaching, ways of guidance and counselling etc. Hence, all over the world, due attention is being paid to the study of commerce education to prepare the students to cope with problems of international trade systems and also to prepare students to be good consumers, business owners along with good citizens. Although, "Teaching of Commerce" is prescribed syllabus for teacher's training classes, but because of availability of concerned review of literature in ménage amount and in un-psychological way/style; it usually results in incomplete teaching and even brilliants students cannot assimilate the subject matter easily. Thus, this first edition of the book will fulfill a long-felt need of B.Ed. students who have all along been suggesting the publisher to publish a standard text book for "Teaching of Commerce" incur language and in practical way. A sincere attempt has been made to meet the requirements of B.Ed. syllabi of different universities of country as proposed by University Grants Commission. Besides its usefulness to B.Ed. students of Indian Universities, this book will also help the teacher educators in their in-service training courses arranged by the government periodically to refresh their methodological knowledge and knowledge of operating the various audio-visual aids concerned with Commerce education. The present book is the outcome of the author and it is a humble effort to present the problems of teacher education and related to their training program, as author has perceived. The innovations related lesson plan, teaching practice, classroom skills and teaching concepts are also included in this book for readers. The readers of education field will decide its utility, if this volume may give any benefit to them, it will be his success. Almost every aspect of teach-education and training program is covered in this book. This is caring ten chapters. The author has suggested and given some ideas to solve the teacher's problems. He has also suggested that only if there are a large number of idealistic trained teachers and education workers devoted to the cause then the country can solve the education problems of each school that are situated in villages and cities. |
