PREFACE:
I am glad to place before the public my book 'Cancer Therapy in Ayurveda' based on the available literature in ayurveda on cancer treatment. I have made an humble and bold attempt to write this book in the interest of patients suffering from cancer. When the whole world is concentrating on the treatment of cancer, with the different systems of medicines, still the majority patients suffering from cancer are dieing one after another.
In ayurveda there is a line of treatment for cancer, external application, internal administration of medicines, herbal and metallic drugs which are purified and made fit to use by human beings. The ayurveda not only cures the diseases but also rejuvenates the tissues of the body.
It increases the resistances of the body by increasing immunity against the diseases producing organisms. ayurveda treatment not only tones up the systems but also act as a tonic to the body, without any side effects It is necessary to bade goodby to oetiological factors that are narrated as caustive factors for the granthis and arbuda, In order to prevent the production of cancer. It would be prophylactic step to halt cancer production. While using the medicine for cancer, It is necessary to follow the diet and regimen as stated in ayurveda to get a cure from this dreaded disease.
In this book there are twenty two chapters dealing with cancer of the brain up to medicinal plants quoted in the text. In addition to the photos of patients of Kidwai institute of oncology. I am highly obliged to 'Week' a weekly of Kerala who had published a write up on cancer therapy in ayurveda and also to the Director Kidwai Institute of Oncology Bangalore as I have utilised these photo graphs in my book.
