This book contains a study of certain linguistic aspects of pali language taht have not been attempted hitherto. Thus is valuable for both student of linguistics as well as Pali. However, in the field of linguistics, this language didnot attract much attention since many thought that this is anciant and deed one. thus linguistic studies, in this persude , did not progress much in pali, that too, not beyond phonology and morphology . Few however, delt to some extent on certain aspects of syntax but rearly on semantics, though aspect of meaning was attemped by some scholors. For the speech, to be affectively in communification, it has to be meaningful. As far as syntex the present book deals with the same primiarly based on Aggavamsa's saddaniti. Though the present book relies on the background provide by the above, yet the findings reveal the perticularities, in Pali especially compared with its sister tongue sanskrit on the one hand and Prakriti languages on the other.
